Well, I recently made my last visit during my visit to the Himalayas. My search took me to Beas, Beas Kund and Glacier Sam. We were a mixed group of three people, beginners and professionals. I have my experience in Himachal Pradesh and a detailed guide to planning a Beas Kund trek.

Beas River Information

Beas is one of the most famous rivers in the Himalayas. It probably flows through many picturesque places, some of which have become Manari-like tourist destinations.

When is best time to visit Beas Kund’s?

You should avoid it when the monsoon whisks this Himalayan region in August and early September. The course from mid-September to the end of October is chilly, but it’s still a good time before winter begins. Pro trekkers also try this in the winter. In winter, a few feet of eyes cover the entire area. However, it is not recommended for beginners as obstacles will be difficult during this period.

Trekking period

A 2-3 day walk is comfortable even on long weekends. A few wanderers do it per day (from Dhundi to Dhundi). It depends entirely on how much you spend on what you do, and whether you want to go slow while having fun around you. Time constraint if you’re a good walker, you can do it in a day.

Reaching the base of the Trek

Manali is the base destination for this track. Road and sky connections are good with most of the major cities. If you come from Delhi, the night coach will drive from 6:30 am to 9 am for almost 13 hours and then travel regularly to Manali early in the morning.

The city has several hikers and tourists exploring the surrounding mountains. After an overnight road trip in Delhi, we arrived in Manali and went straight to Sollan for a day off.

Manali Visit

Manali In addition to the famous attractions, we recommend visiting the villages of Shang and Burwa. It’s a pleasure to be located a few kilometers away from Old Manali. Fields around rustic stone buildings are laced with apple and walnut orchards.

Sorang

Sorang is 13 km from Manali, which is the crown of the Krew Valley at 8.400 feet high. It is famous for snow, paragliding, and Sorang gondola rides. The Biz River flows through it, so you can enjoy the wonderful sights along the river. The night before and after the turbulent Trek we went to Delhi later.
